Inna Brayer Adjudicator - NY

Inna Brayer, a native of Moscow Russia, is the 3 time United States National Ten Dance Champion and a National Certified Adjudicator holding fellowship level accreditation from the N.A.D.T.A. As an ambassador and World Team Member representing the United States she has been ranked as high as ninth in the world, competing in six World Championships. Inna participated as a dancer on Season 7 of ABC-TV’s “Dancing with the Stars” and was partnered with actor Ted McGinley. In 2008 Inna represented USA Dance, Inc. when she was featured on ABC-TV’s “Good Morning America” discussing the upcoming National Championships and the benefits of ballroom dancing. She also served as the choreographer for the Rutgers University Ballroom Dance Team performance on Season 9 of “Dancing with the Stars.” As a coach her students have achieved high placements in many national and international competitions including winning Junior Latin National Championships. Off the dance floor she is actively involved with USA Dance as a DanceSport Delegate, member of the Governing Council, and DanceSport Council. Outside of dance she holds a B.A. in English and Education from the Hunter College Quest School of Education. 

Bill Davies Adjudicator - New York, NY

Bill Davies Is currently celebrating more than fifty years as a dance teacher, competitor, DanceSport Coach and World Class Adjudicator. He is one of the founding US professionals of the Teacher Student competitions known as “Pro/Am” which have become the main stay of U.S. competitions in today’s world.

Bill was a member of the first, as well as several other United States teams which represented the United States at the British Ballroom Championships. In 1978 he placed eighth in the World Championships held in Tyoko Japan. He has won and been a finalist in numerous overseas championships. He is a nine time "North American Champion", a three times "United States Champion, runner up in the 1973 "United States American Style Championships," and has been a finalist in many Latin Championships.

He is currently teaching and coaching around the world and loves to social dance.

Karita Yli-Piipari Adjudicator - USA

Karita started to dance at the age of 10 in her native
country Finland. During her career she achieved numerous international
and national titles including 15 Finnish National Championships titles.
She was World & European 10 Dance Finalists. Karita is teaching dancers around the US. She is a qualified WDSF adjudicator and has adjudicated several World and Continental Championships.

Dirk Heidemann Adjudicator - Manchester, CT   
    USA Dance+WDSF - A+ B+
Dirk Heidemann won the National German Youth Championships several times and was runner-up to the German Latin-American Amateur Championships. At the age of 17, he transitioned into the Professional division and in 1993, reached the Finals of the World Championship in the Freestyle World Cup of Latin-American dancing.

Dirk is a distinguished dance trainer of several world champion couples and was a coach of the official German DanceSport Federation (Deutscher Tanzsportverband e. V.) training team. He has trained Christoph Kies and Blanca Ribas Turon who have become 3-time Champions in the category of 10-Dance.

Since 1999, Dirk has had a leading position in the Chinese world of dance. He was one of the most popular choreographers and art directors for the Presentation Shows during the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China.

The World DanceSport Federation (WDSF) commissioned Dirk in March of 2013 to choreograph a flash mob for the 2013 World DanceSport Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. At the final event, around 6,500 athletes danced to Stamp Your Feet before live television cameras. Stamp your Feet is now regarded as one of the largest flash mobs in the world.

In 2015, Dirk led the Russian Champions Armen Tsaturyan and Svetlana Gudyno to win the WDSF European Championship and to become the vice-world champions in the WDSF World Latin Championship. Dirk has also trained the Israeli couple, Artyom Liaskovsky and Liana Odikadze, to become World Champions in the Under 21 Latin Championship. This was the first world title for Israel in DanceSport since the existence of the country.

Dirk has authored articles on dancing contests, has worked as the German National Youth trainer in Latin American Dancing and is a Professor for competitive dancing at the Sports University of Zheng Zhou, China. 

Wendi Davies Adjudicator - West Orange, NJ

Wendi began dancing while at Princeton studying architecture. In her amateur career she was ranked third in the United States. She turned professional in 1991 and went on to be ranked second at the US Championships, and was the winner of “Championship Ballroom Dancing.” She was the UK Rising Star Champion, Blackpool Rising Star Runner-up, US Representative to the Worlds and Blackpool team match, a finalist at the French Open and the US Open Championships and was ranked 13th in the world. She was a co-owner and operator of Ballroom on Fifth in New York City for 12 years. She is currently a co-owner and operator of the New Jersey DancSport Classic competitions

Yelena Nikon is a former Ballroom and Latin American Amateur and Professional dancer. Participant of European and World Championships. She is a Coach and Owner of multiple Dance Studios since 1985. She is currently coach and owner of Dance Mania Studio in Toronto, CANADA.

Five times Danish Professional Standard Champion and Finalist in All Major Championships including World, European, International and UK Championships, British Open, German Open, US Open, Japan Open and Dutch Open.
High level coach to more than 10 US Champions, 4 World Youth Champions, Coach to the Current World Professional Champions and many other World Finalists. She is Certified Fellow in all styles of dance and has judged many championships throughout the world. IDTA Certified and WDDSC World Class Judge. She is the pioneer of `the Body School System` of dancing in the US. She has taught dancing (all styles), golf and tennis to world class athletes using the Body School System since 1988.
She got certified as a life coach with Bob Proctor in 1998. She is a Lifecoach, motivational speaker and mental coach to corporations, athletes and individuals.
She is the owner of Queen Of Organics which includes 100% toxic free and organic products. To back up her passions for green living she created Concept Village which displays samples building of green, natural and sustainable building methods. She started a contracting company this year to support Concept Village. 

Andrea Zaramella Adjudicator - North Carolina
Andrea is the 2012 United States National Amateur Vice-Champion of International Standard Dancing with his partner Kristie Simmonds. He began dancing in the youth division at the age of nine and became the World Youth Champion. Formerly from Brindisi, Italy, he has made Charlotte, NC his home. He is ranked among the top ten Standard Dancers worldwide. Andrea is fluent in English and Spanish as well as his native Italian. He is an accomplished tennis player and an avid snowboarder.

In addition to judging and chairing, Yuehwern and her partner, Daniel, spend most of their time being the head coaches of the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team. Yuehwern founded this college team in 1995 and it has been highly ranked in the USA Dance collegiate national events. In 2010, the Team was invited to compete on Season 10 of Dancing with the Stars on Fox, and placed second in collegiate formation team competition at the finale.
Yuehwern was runners-up in USA Dance National Dancesport Championships and later finalists in professional events in a span of 15 years. Throughout her dancing career, she is passionate about learning; teaching, and helping students find their pathways to success on and off the dance floor. Over 20 years, the competition team she works with is an incubator of many Dancesport competitors, professionals, and lifelong dancers. Each year Yuehwern is also the key person to organize the Purdue Ballroom Classic, which attracts more than 400 collegiate competitors from 20+ universities in the Midwest area for the last two decades.
Yuehwern studied ballet and performed with the Lafayette Ballet Company before learning ballroom dance. Besides dancing, she completed her B.S. and Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, specializing in smart operations and system engineering. She is currently a Full Professor in Industrial Engineering at Purdue University, the Academic Director of LASER PULSE (Long-term Assistance and Services for Research, Partners for University-Led Solutions Engine) Consortium, and the Associate Director of Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering. 

Yang Chen Emcee - New York
Yang Chen has been dancing for more than twenty years and is currently the President of the Greater New York USA Dance Chapter. Yang has extensive experience as a Master of Ceremonies of many ballroom competitions including the Manhattan Amateur Classic, NJ DanceSport Classic, National Qualifying Events in Bethesda, Maryland, Knoxville, Tennessee and Baton Rouge, Louisiana, the USA Dance National Championships and numerous collegiate events, including the DC DanceSport Inferno. He lives in New York City, and yes, his first name is pronounced “young.”

Barbara Baran Registrar - Connecticut
Barbara is currently the President of the Greater Hartford, Connecticut USA Dance Chapter, wherein she initiated a college scholarship program focused upon the personal and academic impact of ballroom dancing upon high school students. The program is currently in its eighth year with over $17,000 awarded in college scholarships. She has also developed and helped to pilot a successful school program which integrates the fundamentals of project management within a structured ballroom program using the WDSF syllabus. The program's goal is to prepare the future leaders of USA Dance.

Barbara enjoys studying the International Standard and American Smooth styles. She holds a B.S. in Computer Engineering together with an MBA. She is currently an IT Program Management Consultant for major pharmaceutical and financial services companies. 

Daniel Dilley Scrutineer - Indiana

National Judge, USA Dance registered; Certified by the North American Dancesport Teachers Association (NADTA) and World Dancesport Federation (WDSF); Certified Scrutineer (by NDCA) with extensive experience, and enough equipment to run O2CM wireless judging for 30+ judges. Cincinnati Ballroom Classic Rising Star Champion; Volunteer State Rising Star Champion; Finalists in many US competitions; Daniel is the head coach of the Purdue Latin & Ballroom Dance Team, which has about 125 members each semester, requiring competitive coaching in all levels from Newcomer to Champ. Daniel also co-organizes the annual Purdue Ballroom Classic Competition, which attracts more than 400 collegiate ballroom dance competitors each year in the Midwest.
